Quill Construction has established the foundation of the company on the implementation of refurbishment contracts. These are both long term cyclical and day to day maintenance contracts, with almost 80% of our annual turnover being undertaken on occupied properties. Quill Construction appreciates that a faultless project is always the ultimate goal, but the idiosyncrasies of refurbishment work means that this is not always possible. We therefore strive to smooth the difficulties of any project as much as possible for the clients involved. As a majority of properties worked on are occupied by tenants and leaseholders Quill Construction has a network of tenant liaison officers to address any problems arising. Not only those residents covered by the contract are involved but also those adjacent who may be effected by the works. With the aid of contact sheets, newsletters residents meetings, office staff and Quill Construction's free phone number (0800 3898673) they are able to keep people informed and identify any concerns quickly. Office staff and works supervisors also contribute to the quick resolution of any problems. Quill Construction undertakes the majority of all work with direct employees, only subcontracting scaffolding and electrical works. We have built up our workforce over many years and have an extensive first hand knowledge of our employees. We are able, if the client has residents or residential areas with special needs, to allocate specific operatives who have the training and/or special personal qualities necessary to undertake work in these distinctive projects or locations. We would confirm that we are Certified and Approved for Construction line , Gas Safe and Sinclair Directories and are a full member of the Dulux Trade Contract Partnership. |
